Build shift with us.

We’re expanding across Germany. If you like moving fast, talking to people, and building something from the ground up, we’d love to meet you.

  • Performance Marketing ManagerLondon / Munich / Berlin / Zurich / Remote · shift by microagi

    About shift

shift pays everyday workers to record short videos of the tasks they already do (in kitchens, workshops, job sites, bakeries, and warehouses) to help train the next generation of AI and robotics. We’ve paid out over $5M to 25,000+ workers across 15+ countries, and we’re now expanding across Germany into every kind of business where hands-on, dexterous work plays a role, from workshops and kitchens to manufacturing, repair, and beyond.

    The Role

We’re hiring a Performance Marketing Manager to turn paid channels into our most reliable source of new operators. You’ll own the full paid funnel across Meta, TikTok, Google, and whatever else works, with one goal: get more people downloading the app and recording their first videos.

    What you’ll do

    • Own paid acquisition end to end: strategy, setup, creative briefing, budget allocation, optimization, and reporting
    • Run and scale campaigns across Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), and test new channels as they make sense
    • Build and manage retargeting funnels, lookalike audiences, and conversion events tied to real product milestones (app install, first recording, first payout)
    • Work closely with our UGC creators and content team to brief and test ad creatives at high volume
    • Set up and maintain tracking infrastructure: pixels, CAPI, UTM frameworks, attribution across web and app
    • Report weekly on CAC, ROAS, and funnel conversion rates by channel, country, and audience segment
    • Run structured creative and audience tests and make decisions based on data, not gut feel
    • Identify and act on emerging paid channels or formats before competitors catch on

    What we’re looking for

    • 2+ years running paid social and/or paid search campaigns with real budget responsibility (you’ve spent six figures and can show what happened)
    • Deep hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and at least one other major platform (TikTok, Google)
    • You think in funnels, not impressions. You know the difference between a vanity metric and one that moves the business
    • Comfortable with pixels, CAPI, conversion APIs, and server-side tracking setups
    • Experience with app install campaigns is a strong plus
    • You can brief creative that performs, not just creative that looks good
    • Analytical and self-directed: you dig into the data, find the lever, and pull it without waiting to be asked
    • Bonus: you’ve worked at a startup where speed matters more than process

    Why this role

    • Real budget, real autonomy: you’ll own the channel, not execute someone else’s plan
    • A product people actually want: you’re telling workers they can earn extra money, not asking them to buy something
    • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing, well-funded startup featured in Forbes, Business Insider, The Verge, and more

  • UGC Creators / Ad Creative ProducersMultiple positions in all markets · London / Munich / Berlin / Zurich / Remote · shift by microagi

    About shift

shift pays everyday workers to record short videos of the tasks they already do (in kitchens, workshops, job sites, bakeries, and warehouses) to help train the next generation of AI and robotics. We’ve paid out over $5M to 25,000+ workers across 15+ countries, and we’re now expanding across Germany into every kind of business where hands-on, dexterous work plays a role, from workshops and kitchens to manufacturing, repair, and beyond.

    The Role

We’re hiring multiple UGC creators across all of our markets, who can produce a high volume of short-form ad creatives that feel native to the platforms they run on. You’ll create UGC-style videos for Meta, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, the kind that stop the scroll because they look like real content, not ads. You’ll work directly with our performance marketing team to test hooks, formats, and angles at speed.

    What you’ll do

    • Produce 15-30+ short-form video creatives per month across multiple formats: talking head, screen recordings, testimonial-style, POV
    • Write scripts and hooks optimized for thumb-stopping performance in the first 1-3 seconds
    • Shoot, edit, and post-produce content yourself (phone + laptop is fine, this isn’t a studio job)
    • Create localized versions for different markets, depending on which languages you speak
    • Collaborate with the performance marketing manager to iterate on winning creatives and kill underperformers fast
    • Source and brief real shift operators to appear in testimonial or day-in-the-life content
    • Stay on top of trending formats, sounds, and native styles across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
    • Build and maintain a creative library organized by hook type, format, market, and performance tier

    What we’re looking for

    • A portfolio or reel of UGC-style ad content you’ve produced (send links, not decks)
    • You can write a hook, shoot it on your phone, and have a polished cut ready the same day
    • Strong instinct for what works on TikTok and Instagram Reels, not what looks good in a boardroom
    • Comfortable appearing on camera yourself or directing non-actors to do so naturally
    • You understand the difference between content that gets likes and content that gets clicks
    • Bonus: experience producing performance creative for app install or direct-response campaigns

    Why this role

    • Creative freedom with direct feedback: you’ll see within days whether your content converts
    • A product with a genuinely compelling story: real workers earning real money
    • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing, well-funded startup featured in Forbes, Business Insider, The Verge, and more

  • Social Media ManagerLondon / Munich / Berlin / Zurich / Remote · shift by microagi

    About shift

shift pays everyday workers to record short videos of the tasks they already do (in kitchens, workshops, job sites, bakeries, and warehouses) to help train the next generation of AI and robotics. We’ve paid out over $5M to 25,000+ workers across 15+ countries, and we’re now expanding across Germany into every kind of business where hands-on, dexterous work plays a role, from workshops and kitchens to manufacturing, repair, and beyond.

    The Role

We need someone to own shift’s organic social presence and make it a real growth channel, not a brand exercise. You’ll run our accounts across TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn, with one priority: content that drives app downloads, operator signups, and community engagement. You’ll be the voice of shift online, and you’ll have the freedom to move fast and try things.

    What you’ll do

    • Own and grow shift’s social channels: TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn (and new platforms as they emerge)
    • Plan, create, and publish 5-7+ posts per week across channels, mixing formats: short-form video, carousels, stories, text posts, memes, and whatever else works
    • Build and manage a content calendar tied to product launches, market expansions, press moments, and trending opportunities
    • Engage with comments, DMs, and community conversations daily
    • Repurpose operator stories, field footage, press coverage, and internal content into social-native formats
    • Track follower growth, engagement rates, link clicks, and app installs driven by organic social
    • Identify and engage with relevant creators, communities, and micro-influencers in the trades and gig economy space
    • Collaborate with the UGC creator and performance marketing team to cross-pollinate content and learnings

    What we’re looking for

    • You run or have run social accounts with real, measurable growth (show us the numbers or the accounts)
    • Native fluency in short-form content: you know what works on TikTok vs. LinkedIn and don’t post the same thing everywhere
    • Strong writing and visual sense. You can draft copy, storyboard a reel, and design a carousel without needing a team
    • You’re online. You spot trends early and can move on them within hours, not days
    • Self-directed and organized: you can manage a multi-channel calendar and keep publishing consistently without someone checking in
    • Bonus: experience growing social for a B2C app, marketplace, or gig platform
    • Bonus: you’ve built community, not just followers

    Why this role

    • A product with built-in content: thousands of workers doing interesting manual work on camera every day
    • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing, well-funded startup featured in Forbes, Business Insider, The Verge, and more

  • Growth Hacker InternInternship · London / Munich / Berlin / Zurich / Remote · shift by microagi

    About shift

shift pays everyday workers to record short videos of the tasks they already do (in kitchens, workshops, job sites, bakeries, and warehouses) to help train the next generation of AI and robotics. We’ve paid out over $5M to 25,000+ workers across 15+ countries, and we’re now expanding across Germany into every kind of business where hands-on, dexterous work plays a role, from workshops and kitchens to manufacturing, repair, and beyond.

    The Role

We’re hiring a Growth Hacker Intern to find and scale the channels that bring operators to shift, whether that’s paid, organic, referral, product-led, or something nobody’s tried yet. You won’t sit in one lane. You’ll run experiments across the entire acquisition funnel, figure out what moves the needle, and double down. If you’re the kind of person who’s always scheming about how to get more users with less spend, this is the internship for you.

    What you’ll do

    • Design, run, and evaluate growth experiments across paid, organic, referral, partnerships, and unconventional channels
    • Build and optimize referral and incentive loops that turn existing operators into a growth engine
    • Analyze the full funnel from first touch to first recording and find the biggest leaks
    • Set up and manage tracking, attribution, and experimentation infrastructure (analytics, A/B tests, cohort analysis)
    • Work with engineering to ship product changes that improve activation, retention, and virality
    • Test scrappy, low-cost acquisition tactics: community seeding, local influencer partnerships, WhatsApp/Telegram distribution, offline-to-online bridges, and anything else that works
    • Own weekly growth metrics and present what you tested, what worked, and what’s next
    • Collaborate across performance marketing, social, content, and field ops to connect online and offline growth efforts

    What we’re looking for

    • Track record of growing a product’s user base through creative, measurable tactics (tell us the story, show us the numbers)
    • You think in experiments, not campaigns. You can design a test, set a success metric, and kill or scale based on results
    • Comfortable with data: you can pull numbers, build dashboards, and spot patterns without needing an analyst
    • Technical enough to set up tracking, work with APIs, and prototype landing pages or tools yourself
    • You’ve done things that didn’t scale to find things that did
    • Resourceful and fast. You’d rather launch something imperfect today than perfect it for a month
    • Bonus: experience in marketplaces, gig platforms, or two-sided supply/demand businesses
    • Bonus: experience with app growth, especially in non-tech demographics

    Why this role

    • Total freedom to experiment across every channel and tactic
    • A product with strong organic pull: people genuinely want to earn money for work they already do
    • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing, well-funded startup featured in Forbes, Business Insider, The Verge, and more

  • Influencer & Creator Partnerships InternInternship · London / Munich / Berlin / Zurich / Remote · shift by microagi

    About shift

shift pays everyday workers to record short videos of the tasks they already do (in kitchens, workshops, job sites, bakeries, and warehouses) to help train the next generation of AI and robotics. We’ve paid out over $5M to 25,000+ workers across 15+ countries, and we’re now expanding across Germany into every kind of business where hands-on, dexterous work plays a role, from workshops and kitchens to manufacturing, repair, and beyond.

    The Role

We’re hiring an intern to build and run shift’s influencer and creator partnerships from scratch. The people we want to work with aren’t lifestyle influencers or celebrity endorsers. They’re the electrician with 80k TikTok followers, the cleaning business owner with a loyal Facebook group, the mechanic posting workshop content on YouTube Shorts. You’ll find these people, pitch them, structure deals, and turn them into a scalable acquisition channel. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and community, and it only works if you genuinely understand the world of trades, gig work, and side hustles online.

    What you’ll do

    • Identify and build a pipeline of micro- and mid-tier creators in the trades, manual work, gig economy, and side income space across our active markets
    • Reach out, pitch the partnership, and negotiate terms (flat fees, revenue share, hybrid, affiliate, whatever fits)
    • Manage ongoing relationships with 50-100+ active creator partners at any given time
    • Brief creators on messaging and content direction without making their posts feel scripted or corporate
    • Track performance per creator: signups, app installs, first recordings, and cost per acquisition
    • Build and maintain a creator CRM with pipeline stages, deal terms, content deliverables, and results
    • Work with the performance marketing team to amplify top-performing creator content through paid
    • Spot emerging creators early and lock in partnerships before competitors notice them
    • Test different partnership formats: one-off posts, ongoing ambassadorships, affiliate programs, co-created content, live sessions, giveaways
    • Report on what’s working by platform, creator type, audience size, and market

    What we’re looking for

    • Experience managing influencer or creator partnerships at scale (not one-off brand deals, an actual program)
    • You spend real time on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and Facebook Groups and you know the difference between followers and influence
    • Strong outreach and negotiation skills. You can cold-DM a creator, explain the opportunity, and close a deal without a 10-slide deck
    • Organized enough to manage dozens of active partnerships, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously
    • You understand performance metrics, not just vanity metrics. You care about signups and recordings, not just views
    • Bonus: you’ve worked with creators in non-glamorous verticals (trades, blue-collar, gig economy, local services)
    • Bonus: you speak German and English (other languages are a strong plus for multi-market outreach)
    • Bonus: existing relationships with creators in the trades or side hustle space

    Why this role

    • You’re building the program from zero, not inheriting someone else’s spreadsheet
    • A genuinely easy pitch for creators: their audience earns money, and the creator gets paid too
    • Direct line between your work and growth numbers. No guessing whether partnerships are working
    • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing, well-funded startup featured in Forbes, Business Insider, The Verge, and more

  • Growth & Marketing AssociateMunich · shift by microagi

    About shift

shift pays everyday workers to record short videos of the tasks they already do (in kitchens, workshops, job sites, bakeries, and warehouses) to help train the next generation of AI and robotics. We’ve paid out over $5M to 25,000+ workers across 15+ countries, and we’re now expanding across Germany into every kind of business where hands-on, dexterous work plays a role, from workshops and kitchens to manufacturing, repair, and beyond.

    The Role

This role exists because the job changes every week. On Monday you might be scouting locations and organizing a video shoot. On Wednesday you’re deep in a UGC campaign, reviewing creatives and briefing edits. On Friday you’re planning a real-world stunt designed to go viral and figuring out how to amplify it across every social channel. There is no fixed playbook. You’ll operate across growth, content, social, and operations, picking up whatever has the highest impact right now and running with it. This role is for someone who thrives when the brief is vague, the timeline is tight, and nobody’s going to tell you exactly how to do it.

    What you’ll do

    • Help the growth and marketing team stay on top of shifting priorities across every channel and function
    • Get video shoots off the ground: find locations, line up talent, sort out equipment, and make sure everything actually happens on time
    • Dig into UGC and ad creative campaigns: look at what’s working, brief creators, try new angles, and move fast when something hits
    • Come up with real-life stunts and guerrilla moments that get people talking, then make sure they’re captured and blow up on social
    • Jump in wherever the team needs you most, whether that’s performance marketing, social, influencer outreach, or content production
    • Spot new growth ideas early and start testing them before anyone’s asked you to
    • Keep your own projects moving without being chased. You know what’s due, what’s stuck, and what needs flagging

    What we’re looking for

    • Builder mentality. You see something that needs doing and you do it, even if it’s not in any job description and nobody asked
    • You handle ambiguity well. “Figure it out” is an instruction you’re comfortable with, not one that stresses you out
    • Highly independent. You can take a vague objective, break it down, and deliver without daily check-ins
    • Versatile across creative and analytical work: you can storyboard a shoot in the morning and pull campaign metrics in the afternoon
    • Strong bias toward action. You’d rather ship something imperfect today than plan something perfect for next month
    • Organized enough to juggle multiple projects across different functions without dropping things
    • Genuinely interested in social media, content, and growth, not just as a career path but as something you pay attention to on your own time

    Why this role

    • You’ll touch every part of growth and marketing, not sit in one lane
    • A product people actually want: you’re telling workers they can earn extra money, not asking them to buy something
    • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing, well-funded startup featured in Forbes, Business Insider, The Verge, and more
